The “Ailao Afi” or Samoan Fire Knife Dance is a warrior dance from the island of Samoa. In ancient times, the knife dance was used as a pre-war ritual to intimidate opponents. The dance is a tradition in Samoan culture, and has been passed down in our family for generations.
Our fire warriors descend from a long lineage of professional fire dancers directly from Samoa. Our family’s warriors have danced professionally in Hawaii’s top luau shows and globally with Cirque Du Soleil!
